Tomorrow, September 17, at 8:30 a.m., the Miami Beach City Commission will hold a public meeting to consider an anti-gun resolution. The resolution, proposed by Commissioner Alex Fernandez, directs the Office of the City Attorney to prepare, and the City Administration to distribute, a letter encouraging private businesses within the City of Miami Beach to prohibit customers, employees, or invitees from bringing firearms or other weapons onto their private property.

On Monday, the Wisconsin State Assembly introduced legislation that would make it a Class A misdemeanor to possess a firearm in any building or on the grounds of a public or private university or college. The bill has been referred to the Assembly Committee on Criminal Justice and Public Safety for consideration. Contact committee members today and urge them to oppose this legislation!
